Need PPE? We can help!
Whether you need masks and face shields for yourself and your family—or you are looking to supply your hospital, clinic, or organization, we ask that you please fill out our order form. We will match your needs to local makers in your area and help you connect with the right folks.
Both the Arkansas Maker Task Force and the Innovation Hub are working to deliver PPE at affordable prices—and some makers are even donating their time.
You can help!
You are a maker and, of course, you want to help—it’s who you are! Join the Arkansas Maker Task Force and help ensure Arkansans have the necessary face masks, shields, and personal protective equipment (PPE) they need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Task Force meets via a Slack channel where discussions range from filling orders to sharing tips to solving new and emerging issues in the state. The Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub works to moderate this group and has established a tracking system to help match requests to makers.
Earlier this year there was a critical shortage of PPE for essential healthcare and frontline workers. Today it is better, but Arkansas’s new case numbers have continued to rise. In July, Governor Asa Hutchinson issued a statewide mask mandate requiring Arkansans to wear face coverings indoors. This, coupled with a return to school for K-12 students, means that cloth masks and other PPE are in great demand.
For many Arkansans, masks are additional economic burden. If you are able to donate time and/or materials, we will help connect you with the folks who need them.
If you are a maker or supplier, you are needed. Please join us.
