Every day at an innovation hub and makerspace is a little different! We offer a different mix of classes, workshops, events, and open studio time daily. Drop by and attend any of our scheduled offerings, ask questions, or take a quick tour. Desktop Cutting: Make & Take • 1pM

Desktop cutters have become incredibly popular recently due to their affordability and versatility. Join us for a make-and-take workshop to learn the kinds of things that can be made with this machine. We’ll explore the basics of how the machine works and you can create your own design to take home with you!

Entrepreneurship Class • 9:30 am

In this four-part series, you’ll learn the basics of business, build a lean canvas business plan, find microlending resources, and discover local Northwest Arkansas business resources available to you.

Laser Cutting & Engraving class • 5 pm

The laser cutter is the maker’s dream tool—cut or engrave a great variety of materials including wood, paper, fabric, leather, craft foam, stone, tile, glass, cork, and acrylic. You will learn how to create and prep graphics and operate the machines safely. Plus you’ll make some fun items!

Micromanufacturing: Molding & Casting • 5 pM

Learn to create your own molds for casting in a variety of materials such as soap, chocolate, concrete, plastic, plaster, or more. In this workshop, we will review different methods for making small batches of items quickly using a vacuum former. First, you will make your own mold and leave with your very own cast bar of soap!

Have you always wanted to fly a drone—or maybe just learn to not crash them? This workshop will teach you the basics of drone flight and let you take to the rafters with DGI Tello drones.
