Private instruction and mentorship for youth.

Learn technical and artisanal skills at your level and pace!

Our educators mentor and challenge youths to learn and hone skills in a variety of subjects. We work with each student to determine their interests and skill levels, then guide them through projects and lessons tailored to help them attain their goals and personal projects.

Classes offered between 4-6 PM, virtually or in-person, unless noted.
This is an ideal solution for individuals, siblings, and small groups.
$50/hour (per person)

Pottery on the Wheel

Learn to “throw” a pot on a wheel and discover this amazing technique which allows potters to form dozens of pieces in a single day. Our professional potters meet one-on-one with your youth or small group, virtually or in-person at the Hub.

Bring your apron and be ready to get a little dirt under your fingernails!

Practice clay is included. Clay is also available for $40/lb.

This is a great intro for students who are too young for full access to our wood and metal shop but who still want to learn how to work with wood. Learn how to create your own 3D models using Fusion 360 and Blender. Students will work with our production lead, learning how to create various types of 3D models. This class pares well with our 3D printing class but can also be taken on its own.

Refund policies for our classes and workshops: Due to the diverse number of classes, workshops, summer camps, and field trips we offer, we have created a cancellation policy that gives us an opportunity to fill our schedule. You may cancel by phone or by sending an email to education@arhub.org. If you have to cancel your upcoming class, private instruction session, workshop, field trip, or summer camp registration, refunds will be given as follows: Cancellations made 30 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a 100% refund, cancellations made 15-30 days in advance of the event date will receive a 50% refund, cancellations made 0-14 days within the event date will not receive any type of refund.
