Morning Session: 8am-12pm
Afternoon Session: 1pm – 5pm
Do you want a vast army of mechanical minions to do your bidding? Well, that’s too expensive, but what about one little robot that you can control? We can handle that! Learn the basics of the coding and wiring that it takes to create artificial intelligence that can move and react to the world around it.
Most kids want to spend their summers playing video games, but some kids actually want to spend their summer making video games and we can help! Learn how to create everything about a video game world from the types of plants down to the gravity of your planet. Then, create 3D models of characters, cars, houses, and more, and add these into your game.
A big part of what we do here at The Innovation Hub is make products for people on our 3D printers and laser cutters. Now you can learn how to use these same machines that our production staff use on a daily basis! Learn 3D modeling and sculpting, and how to print them on our 3D printers. Learn to create specialized vector graphics and run them on our laser cutters. Learn how to get a design from in your mind to in your hands!

Learn how to make mugs, bowls, and more in our ceramics studio. Students will get to try out our pottery wheels and make handbuilt pottery that they will paint and have fired in our kiln.
Art meets technology in this fun box making summer camp. Students will learn several 2D design methods, like creating stamps and block printing techniques in our art studios. They will use the methods learned on paper and wood to create their own custom boxes. After designing the paper, it will be cut into a box using the laser cutter during camp! Each student will have a unique laser cut wooden box, and paper gift boxes to take home at the end of camp.
Students will create a series of watercolor creations as they learn different watercolor painting techniques throughout the week. They will use their new skills to design and paint their own tryptic–a work of art divided into 3 sections.

We are excited to announce a new option for teens this summer! Teens 14-17 can join the Hub this summer to work on creative projects and learn new skills for art and design. Each weekday from 1-3 pm there will be specific workshops for teen members to learn new art techniques and how to use equipment. The second half of the afternoon, from 3-5 pm, they can use specified studios like members with access and assistance in using equipment for screen printing, laser etchers, pottery wheels, etching press, easels for painting, and more.
Come once a week or all 5 days to create in our art studios. Some materials are provided for workshops. Students can purchase additional materials from the Hub or bring materials from home.
